Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 September 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
GrubNmore ("GrubNmore", "we", "us", "our") is a cloud kitchen based at No. 13 Balogun Street, Lekki Beach Road, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, trading under Brownreality (CAC registered). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of grubnmore.com and its sibling ordering pages (grocery.grubnmore.com, lunchbox.grubnmore.com), and any order you place with us through our website, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, phone, walk-in, or a listed delivery marketplace (currently Chowdeck and Glovo).
By placing an order or otherwise using any of these channels, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't place an order with us.
2. Placing an order
You can order from us through several channels, and the same terms apply regardless of which one you use:
- Our website (grubnmore.com and its product pages)
- WhatsApp (+234 803 679 5005)
- Instagram or Facebook direct message
- Phone
- Walk-in, at our kitchen address above
- Delivery marketplaces we're listed on (currently Chowdeck and Glovo — an order placed through one of these is also subject to that marketplace's own terms)
An order is only confirmed once we've acknowledged it back to you — through the website's on-screen confirmation, or a reply message on WhatsApp/Instagram/Facebook. Adding items to a cart or sending a message describing what you want is a request to order, not a confirmed order, until we confirm it.
We don't currently require you to create an account or password to order — every order is handled as a guest/one-off transaction, coordinated over WhatsApp once placed.
3. Menu, pricing, and availability
We do our best to keep prices, descriptions, and availability accurate on our website and social channels, but ingredient costs and stock can change. If an item's price or availability has genuinely changed since you saw it, we'll tell you before we confirm your order — you're never charged a price you weren't shown and didn't agree to.
Photos are representative of the dish; actual plating, garnish, or portion appearance can vary slightly from photo to photo, as with any freshly cooked meal.
4. Payment
We currently accept payment by bank transfer, POS on delivery, or card payment via Paystack, depending on which is available at the time you order on a given channel — we'll tell you which options apply to your order. Because our food is cooked fresh after you order, payment is required before the kitchen starts preparing your order (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for exactly how this works at each stage). If you pay by card through Paystack, your card details go directly to Paystack — we never see or store your full card number.
5. Delivery
We currently deliver to Lekki, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Oniru, Ikate, Chevron, Ajah, and VGC (Lunch Box's own weekly-subscription delivery area is narrower — see that page for its current list). Estimated delivery times are our best estimate based on kitchen load and traffic, not a guaranteed time of arrival; if something is running significantly later than expected, message us on WhatsApp and we'll give you a real update.
Delivery outside these areas may be possible on request — ask us on WhatsApp before ordering if you're unsure whether we reach you.
6. Cancellations, changes, and refunds
Our full Refund & Cancellation Policy — including exactly when a cancellation or refund is possible and when it isn't, once cooking has started — is published separately. It's part of these Terms by reference: by ordering, you're agreeing to both documents.
7. Acceptable use
When ordering or messaging us, please don't:
- Provide a false name, address, or contact number, or place an order on someone else's behalf without their knowledge.
- Attempt to defraud us or any payment processor we use (e.g. disputing a genuine, delivered charge, or attempting to pay with a card or account that isn't yours).
- Use abusive, threatening, or harassing language toward our staff or delivery riders.
- Use our website, WhatsApp number, or social accounts for anything other than genuinely ordering food or reaching us about an order — including scraping the site, sending unsolicited commercial messages, or attempting to access parts of our systems not intended for customers.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, or decline to serve a particular customer going forward, if we reasonably believe any of the above has happened.
8. Third-party services we use
Fulfilling and improving our service relies on a few outside providers, each governed by their own terms and privacy practices: Paystack (payment processing), WhatsApp/Meta (order coordination and the Meta Pixel for ad measurement), Google Analytics (site analytics), Chowdeck and Glovo (delivery marketplaces we're listed on), and our own delivery riders. We choose these providers carefully, but we aren't responsible for outages or issues that originate entirely on their side — if a payment or a marketplace order doesn't go through because of a problem with one of these providers, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help sort it out.
9. Intellectual property
The GrubNmore name, logo, menu descriptions, food photography, and website content are owned by us (or used with permission) and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written consent. You're welcome to share photos of your own order on social media and tag us — we love seeing that.
10. Limitation of liability
We take food safety and order accuracy seriously, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy covers what happens if something goes wrong with a specific order. Beyond that, to the fullest extent permitted under Nigerian law, GrubNmore is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or ordering channels (for example, a missed event because a delivery ran late) — our responsibility for a given order is limited to the value of that order, refunded or replaced per our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) that can't lawfully be limited.
11. Age and capacity to order
Our ordering channels are intended for use by adults capable of entering into a purchase agreement under Nigerian law. If you're ordering on behalf of a household, office, or event, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as our business, channels, or payment methods change (for example, as we bring an integrated payment option back online). If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to order from us after a change means you accept the update.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from an order or these Terms will first be raised with us directly on WhatsApp so we can try to resolve it quickly and informally; if that doesn't resolve it, either party may pursue their rights under Nigerian law, including escalation to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) where applicable.
